Patient Navigators
Brian French, Navigator
Brian French, MD, has over 10 years of administrative experience in healthcare and public education. He specializes in genitourinary cancer navigation and is dedicated to serving any patient diagnosed with prostate, testicular, bladder or kidney cancer. Brian earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Driven by a strong interest in complimentary and integrative approaches to health and healing, he later completed his Patient Navigation Certification at Sonoma State University. Outside of his professional life, Brian enjoys relaxing at home with his wife and two rescue dogs, and cheering for his favorite football team.
Alison Gause, Navigator
Alison Gause has over 10 years of experience working as a Patient Navigator. She strives to facilitate a seamless and supportive experience for individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment. She received her master’s in public health from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a focus on community health education and breast cancer survivorship. She is a certified Breast Patient Navigator through the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC). Alison has extensive experience developing health programs to improve the quality and delivery of patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, exploring nature and hiking Bay Area trails. What she appreciates most about working at Marin Cancer Care is the close collaboration between physicians, patients and the supportive care team.

Hi, I’m Sarah. I have been with MCC for over 10 years and look forward to coming to work each day to be with our patients. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and have two daughters who rock my world. I look forward to meeting you and providing you with friendly care and a smile.
Stephanie Durkin, Coordinator
I’ve been working for Marin Cancer Care for over 15 years, starting out in Medical Records, working almost every position in the practice. I enjoy coming to work every day and being able to help people through their journey. It is a great feeling to know that I can make a difference in what is a very challenging time in a person’s life.
David Jesitus, Pharmacist
As one of the newer additions to the Marin Cancer Care team, I can say from experience that this is one of the most welcoming places you’ll encounter. I have sixteen years of experience in oncology treatment suites, and three decades of experience as a pharmacist. Every setting has it’s own unique personality. When you walk into MCC you are greeted with smiles, wonderful views, a caring and dedicated staff, and access to the best and most modern therapies. I am honored to be part of this team.
Brittany Mayo, Coordinator
I have worked in healthcare for approximately 10 years, gaining experience in a variety of roles, including Caregiving, Medical Assisting, and Referrals Coordination, along with many other responsibilities at Petaluma and Rohnert Park Health Centers. Prior to becoming part of the MCC family, I worked as a Patient Care Coordinator at a Physical Therapy office in San Diego. I chose to pursue a career in healthcare because I genuinely enjoy helping others and wanted to make a positive impact on patients and their care. Every day brings a new learning experience, and with medicine constantly evolving, there is always an opportunity to grow and learn something new. Since joining MCC, I have already learned so much and truly enjoy being part of such a dedicated team. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue growing in my role and am happy to be part of the MCC journey!
