    “Let Food Be Thy Medicine”
Meeting our nutritional needs on a daily basis is important for optimizing our health and well-being but is particularly important while undergoing cancer treatment. That’s because chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery place extra demands on the body and certain treatments can lead to side effects making it difficult to meet your body’s nutrient needs.Eating the right kinds of foods before, during and after treatment can help you:

    • Feel better
    • Keep up your strength and energy
    • Maintain a healthy weight
    • Preserve lean body mass
    • Reduce the risk of infection
    • Heal and recover faster

Drop-ins welcome. However, space is limited.
To reserve your spot please call
    (415) 925-7853.

Please join the Registered Dietitian Nutritionists from the Center for Integrative Health & Wellness for our complimentary, monthly nutrition education session to learn the basics of good nutrition for optimizing cancer treatment. Family, significant others and friends are welcome!
