COVID-19, social distancing, and your upcoming visits at Marin Cancer Care

At Marin Cancer Care, we are committed to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community.  In order to decrease the spread of COVID-19 we are practicing social distancing by changing in-person appointments to remote ones, when possible.

  • If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, stay home and call us for further instructions at 415-925-5000. When in doubt, call first.
  • If you are currently receiving cancer treatment, such as chemotherapy, we will continue your appointments and treatments as scheduled.
  • If you have a scheduled routine follow-up visit, our office will contact you with Telehealth options (options such as phone or video visits in lieu of face-to-face visits).
  • We continue to accept new patients who are referred to us by a physician.

Home Monitoring during Covid-19 Pandemic

It is our hope to keep all of our treatment pateints away from the hospital at this time. To that end, we are encouraging patients to purchase medical items for home monitoring so we can better assess and manage your care over the phone.

We would like you to have the following at home:

  • Thermometer
  • Pulse Oximeter
  • Blook Pressure Monitor

These items can usually be purchased at your local drugstore, though please call first to check inventory.
At last check, both Jack's in San Anselmo and CVS in Greenbrae had thse items available.

If you are unable to find them, we will have a limited supply available for purchase here in the office.

  • Pulse Oximeter $50
  • Blood Pressure Monitor $24

Please make checks payable to Marin Cancer Care.

Thank you for helping us help you during this challenging time.
